Place the salmon, skin side down on, in the hot pan and cook for 5 minutes. Place a pan over medium-high heat and allow it to warm. Required Equipment: saucepan, frying pan, spatula, bowl, fork I wouldn’t call it gourmet in a world not afflicted by nuclear war, but if something does happen, it certainly beats drinking out of a toilet! Finally the inclusion of the Mac and Cheese would be represented by a mac and cheese sauce in the omelette. With that information we decided salmon would make sense and matched the color of the meat the best. At first ham made sense to me but as we discussed it more something from the waters began to make more sense, since a lakelurk resides near aquatic areas. The lakelurk meat was an interesting one. I wanted to give the apple a bit of an off flavor so I decided the combination of onion and apples would work. The mutfruit is closely related to apples. After a bit of back and forth with my husband we came up with a pretty ridiculous omelette that closely represents this recipe. The base recipe in game requires a box of Blamco Mac & Cheese, one crunchy mutfruit, a deathclaw egg and lakelurk meat. It tastes like someone scavenged for random ingredients, mixed them together, and hoped for the best. The Wasteland Omelette is pretty unique because it matches the post-apocalypse world of Fallout perfectly. An omelette is something I eat on a pretty regular basis. While looking at my options, the Wasteland Omelette stood out. When I watched the first trailer, I knew I had to do a recipe from the Fallout universe. I have a feeling my November is going to be pretty game filled.

Gotta love those Sugar Bombs, who doesn’t want their daily dose of sugar! The release date was also revealed to be November 10th.

As they showed the demo I loved seeing the character walk around the kitchen and interact with a few of the items. Last night, Bethesda held their E3 press conference and gave us more details about the game. I’ve enjoyed each of the games I’ve played so far and after seeing the trailer I’m pretty pumped for this next one. I’ve been looking forward to the next installment of the series for a while now.

While I was out of the country, Bethesda released the official trailer for Fallout 4.
